On November 17, 2023, the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCMC (HAWA) and Saigontourist Travel Service Co. officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

This partnership aims to explore and maximize their respective strengths, supporting each other in activities related to travel services, tourism, MICE services, organizing fairs, and trade promotion delegations both domestically and internationally for the Wood & Handicraft industry.

Mr. Phung Quoc Man, Vice Chairman of HAWA, conducted the signing ceremony with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luu – General Director of Saigontourist Travel Service Co. in the presence of leaders including Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa – Chairman of HCMC Union of Business Association, Mr. Vo Anh Tai – Deputy General Director of Saigontourist Group, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center – SECC, and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh – Chairman of HAWA.

Enhancing Services through Collaboration

Through this collaboration, Saigontourist Travel Service Co. will coordinate with HAWA to provide exclusive travel and tourism services for HAWA, such as organizing exhibitions; organizing buyer delegations to Vietnam, and trade and exhibition delegations in countries and many other related services.

HAWA will facilitate Saigontourist to have the opportunity to introduce, promote, and provide travel services and promote the culinary and cultural tourism of Vietnam to international friends/customers. Both parties will collaborate to build and develop green products and sustainable services; accompany in trade promotion events at home and abroad as well as community and social activities.

HawaExpo 2024: A Showcase of Excellence

Especially at the HawaExpo 2024, with an expected number of visitors up to 30,000, including about 10,000 international guests, Saigontourist Travel will be the provider of comprehensive and quality travel services. Services such as VISA assistance, accommodation, airport pick-up and drop-off, fast track service, catering, resort travel, and more will be provided to ensure a seamless experience for international buyers.

Throughout the 4-day event, a fleet of free shuttle buses and taxis will be provided for the convenience of buyers moving between the 2 locations: SECC and White palace. This ensures that guests can navigate the event with ease and comfort.
